He sounds like an entertaining Uncle.

You could say that. He wasn't much adapted for modern living I think. Kept losing his drivers licence for drink driving, so he just stopped getting his licence in the end, living in the country anyway. He had a cat way back then that he seriously named "dickhead".

That makes him even more appealing I don't always feel like a good fit for modern civilization

Yeah, had some interesting times. Been eel fishing with him and his dad had made his own smoke house, so smoked eel is very nice. Plus he would also do a lot of rabbiting with ferrets and nets over the borough entrances. So I've seen rabbits being killed and skinned for eating. BBQ wild rabbit is also very nice.

I toook out a line of about 8 of the stick ones that were keeping traffic out of one lane on dual carriageway with a transit van while I was trying to light a ciggy.
