German firecrackers=BRAVE!

These funny things are called Kanonenschläge or Cannon Thunder. They contain 6 grams (about 1/5 of an ounce) of strong flash. They were called Judenfürze, Jew Farts, before 1945 but that name is illegal now.  :P

In comparison the US M-80, which was banned already in 1967, contained 3 grams flash.  8)

Oh I just found out that Italian firecrackers are tremendous in comparison.  :-\ 48 grams flash in the largest. I've usually made 30-35 gram salutes of flash and film cans. 50 grams at most if the metal was Al.  8)
