Weird prank, but what if some poor bastard took it seriously? They could be looking at serious jail time for threatening behaviour and whatever charge they could come up with. Bet it was one of those radio stations doing a 'gotcha' type thing.

BTW, I'd rather be listening to the Police..... ROXANNE... You don't have to wear that dress tonight....
