Title: Receipts

Is this the new policy everywhere?  Today I went into Kmart for some aper leaf bags which they did not have but on the way thee was no line so I grabbed a Coke.  For this one thing that cost $1.63 I got a receipt longer than my laptop is wide.  Why is this.   Printed on both sides too

You have to pay a bottle deposit.  Do you return the bottles and get it back?

They have tried to pass such legislation here several times to encourage recycling. The conservatives shoot it down every time it comes up for a vote.




Receipts have also turned into advertising space around here.

Yes the deposit is on all carbonated beverages

The receipt is about 17 inches long
