People are sheep, Sheepple I am so sick of them and their self centered predictable nature, perhaps I am really turning to the misanthrope in my title everyday I get closer their behavior speaks for itself they are not to be trusted
-
If you hate people like I do, that won't surprise you in the least.

I hate the societal system that props this behaviour up so much more...

I still have some hope but very day it's lessened but every day my hope fades

Society has 5 years as far as I am concerned to show me that there is some good in the system. Otherwise I am going to personally do everything possible to tear it down, piece by piece.

Sheepple
I like this word, I must remember it.
-
And yet serial killers are put in prison or executed, when will the madness end?
-
My original title here was: Misanthropic Lord of Eternal Slumber.

The system is the result of that behaviour, not the other way around.

I always thought it was a system of trust. As in if that guy is doing all the same things that I do, then I can trust him and not have to form a lynch mob to smite his sorry ass.

.."There are three kinds of people- called them Larrys, Curlys, and Moes.
The Larrys don't even know there are three types; if they're told, it's an abstraction, because they cannot imagine anything beyond Larryness. The Curlys know about it, and recognize it as a pecking order, but find ways of living with it cheerfully...for they are the imaginative, creative ones. The Moes not only know about it, but exploit and perpetuate it.
.....The naive, pleasant New-Agers and "nice" UFO contactees, for instance, are Larrys (as are normals at large)- ineffectual, well-meaning do-gooders destined to always be victims...like sheep, they don't want to hear unpleasant legends about "the slaughterhouse"; they trust the strange beings who feed them.
The artists, unsung scientific geniuses, political writers, and earnest disciples of the stranger cults are Curlys- engaging, original, accident-prone but full of life, and intuitively aware of the Moe forces against them and trying to fight back. They can never defeat the Moes, however, without becoming Moes, which is impossible for a true Curly.
The Moes, then, are the fanatics, the ranters, the cult gurus, the Uri Gellers AND the debunkers; they are the Resistance Leaders and the Ruling Class Bankers, both. They hate each other, but only because they want to control ALL the Larrys and Curlys themselves. They don't actually enjoy their dominance; it's simply part of their nature. Nor are they any less foolish for the fact that they make the decisions. They suffer a chronic paranoia that is unknown to their less demanding underlings.
.
....Larrys and Curlys die in wars started by rival Moes- the Larrys willingly, the Curlys with great regret. Concepts like "Hell" and "Sin" were invented by Moes to keep Larrys in line; the Larrys, in turn, being far more numerous, exert social pressure on the Curly minority to obey- mainly so the Larrys won't feel like suckers.
.
....The Moes also invent myths, like that of the "Grouchos, Harpos, Chicos and Zeppos", to throw the more rebellious Curlys off their trail and keep them unsure of the real situations.
.....When the Curlys finally die of overwork, the Moes find that they cannot live in an all-Larry world; they select special Larrys and try to mold them into False Curlys...but it isn't the same."
It's entertaining to watch the Larry's (sheepple) go at it and the moe's screw them daily while convincing them they aren't being screwed.
CEO's & Politicians are Moe's and the general population are Larry's, normals at large who will always be victims.
the USA is nothing more than a tribe of 300 million morons, if it was a tribe of 300 people their stupidity would be hysterical.
compare the country to a tribe of 300 people
only half the members work, of the ones that work many don't produce nothing like food, shelter & clothing, they shuffle papers, make rules & enforce rules so the don't have to do real work and of the small percentage that actually does productive work, they aren't even close to being able to produce enough food, clothing & shelter to take care of the rest of the tribe, so the tribe buys what it won't produce from other tribes and gives them IOU's which are nothing more than pieces of paper that the other tribes can lay claim to most of what the tribe owns when they decide to get something in return for what they gave the tribe.
almost all the tribe members point the finger at the chief and replace chiefs all the time, yet don't want to work so elect one chief after another one that promises them they won't have to work and they whine they are going broke and replace the chief with another one who promises them they won't have to work and won't go broke. They get poorer and poorer by the decade and can't figure out why they all can't be rich swapping what few assets they have left for higher and higher prices to avoid doing any actual work. They call swapping assets work and think they have a job cooking up one swindle after another one, but they don't produce anything of value and can't figure out why they are growing poorer as a tribe.

Lemmings are another good name. They get led off a cliff sometimes, just like the videogame versions. I remember getting really good at that game on my grandfather's Phillips CD-I.
