Most defiantly the Spanish American War "Remember the Maine"

I question how much that was actual
lying, and how much it was the press
running away with it. IIRC, the government
was cooler to the idea of war than the public.
Back then, things were less engineered.

I can't join the military.
-
I came close to joining the Coast Guard out of high school

I can't join the military.

honest.

I actually have a gay friend who served in the Air Force.

I've known a number. All from before
that policy. Back when 'twas actually
illegal.
