...I just found out about this right now:

I've been to that Von Maur a few times when I lived in Omaha. My mom used to work there and knew some of the victims.

I'd never hear about anything.
No TV, and I don't listen to the
radio news any more, nor pick
up papers.

Only USED to find out stuff from
colleagues. Now, I don't leave
the house.

No... I don't think so.

If you've never been to Omaha, you're not missing much. It's full of the kinds of people that make you want to go on shooting sprees in malls. I'm going back to visit family in a couple of weeks though... guess I'll get to see a historic site.  :P

That's pretty much what one of my friends said about it on his cross country trip.  Though he did say he had the best burger he's ever had there.
