Easily the best novelist to ever bite off Rip Torn's ear.

Actually, I've only read one of his books (The Naked and the Dead, earlier this year) but that was one freaking amazing book. I think I should find another of his to read.

Yeah, really enjoyed 'The Deer Park'. I recommend it.

Never got around to The Naked and the Dead - must do.
