Mark Harelik (born 5 June 1951; age 56) is the actor who played Devore inspector Kashyk in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Counterpoint".
Harelik made his television debut in the 1990 telefilm Unspeakable Acts, co-starring Bebe Neuwirth and Gregory Sierra. He went on to become a regular cast member for one season of the television series Hearts Afire, on which fellow Voyager guest star Leslie Jordan and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest actress Doren Fein also starred. He also had recurring roles on Wings, starring Steven Weber, and Veronica's Closet, starring Kirstie Alley. He also guest-starred in the final episode of Cheers (co-starring Kirstie Alley, Kelsey Grammer, and Bebe Neuwirth), and in 2005, he appeared in an episode of Numb3rs called "Toxins", which also guest-starred Star Trek: Enterprise actor Connor Trinneer.
In 1993, he co-starred with Enterprise guest star Joanna Cassidy in the telefilm Barbarians at the Gates (also featuring Ron Canada and Bruce French). He would go on to guest-star with Cassidy in an episode of HBO's Six Feet Under, also starring James Cromwell. Other TV shows Harelik has guest-starred on include Picket Fences (starring Ray Walston), Seinfeld (starring Jason Alexander), Desperate Housewives (starring Teri Hatcher, Mark Moses, and Steven Culp).
In 1994, Harelik, Steven Weber, and Steve Vinovich lent their voices to the animated film The Swan Princess. Harelik would go on to appear on-screen in the major motion pictures Election (1999), co-starring Matt Malloy, and Jurassic Park III (2001), which co-starred Enterprise actress Linda Park. He was also part of the ensemble cast of 2004's Eulogy, as were Rene Auberjonois and Famke Janssen.

wow i've seen Jurassic Park 3! i have to watch it again, apparently i missed something hotter than Jeff Goldblum in it! :o or was Goldblum in it?
i love Steve Weber too. i've seen Swan Princess, i can imagine he (Mark) played the evil guy.
-
JP3 had Sam Neill, not Goldblum. Goldblum is in JP2 ;)
-
And Mr.Frost, which is an AMAZING movie.
-
You, yes. I'd figure Eclair was less into that.
Correct, I just like watching boys do kinky stuff to each other. It's not a top of my list fantasy thing.
-
i would love Mr. Frost. i saw the video always at the video store when i was renting stuff. but i never rented it. :-\ i always wanted to.
i only remember of JP3 that the Dinos came to New York and there was chaos.

who?
-
i bet there's not been one boy/boy kiss on Star Trek but ohh they like lesbians. >:( i hate rick berman.
No boy/boy actor kissing no. But there was an episode of TNG where Riker made out with a genderless person (played by a female actor).
Also Rick Berman had little to do with Deep Space Nine after the 2nd season, most of the direction for the show was from Ira Steven Behr.
-
oh that genderless thing was a ploop. total cop out. it was a woman Riker made out with. like always, Riker gets laid. ::)
berman totally told Roddenberry not to put gays on Star Trek. Roddenberry wanted gays but berman didn't. he's a homophobe.

Berman's failings are many. Just look at Enterprise. Started out shit until Berman took a backseat, Manny Coto came in on Season 3 and that was awesome, Season 4 was even better. But Berman wanted to write the last episode, and it was the single worst episode in the history of all Star Trek..."A valentines to the fans" he called...What an insult.

looks like i'm not the only one with gay fantasies about you.

i stopped watching Enterprise, it was so boring. even with Scott Bakula. i guess i should give it a chance if i get the chance to see it again.
too bad he wanted to write the last episode. :(
got enough bad episode ending with Scott Bakula. never saw the last episode of Quantum Leap. i heard it was crap. i don't know if i want to see it. who am i kidding? i want to see it.
