I guess it all balances out in the end, when you are young, you dont realise how much the world sucks, but when you are older, you have enough money to buy useless shiny things to fill the emptiness inside, so yeah...

It's all in your head.  Everything always looks better later, though aches and pains when your getting older suck

I think there's good points to being a kid and there's good points to being an adult.  I think the trick is to not grow up too much and hang on to a fair bit of the child in you (and before you start cal that wasn't some joke about inserting children for sexual pleasure :P)

Growing up is really OK!  If I hadn't semi-grown up, I would not now have my own apartment
where I can decompress at the end of the day, with my own refrigerator, music, TV and computer.   :nicegear:

Goodness, no. Growing up was fun, some of the time, but I'd never want to go back.

Childhood sucks.

Mind you, if i could go back to 20, knowing what I know now.....no, I would just miss the kids

I wouldn't either. I'd happily accept the physical attributes of the 20-yo me, but I wouldn't want to go back to that mind.

It's certainly not the worst thing to ever happen to me, anyway.

I'd like to go back for awhile, some days it would be nice to be a kid again.

I just want to be reincarnated. Preferably with flashes of memory so my previous experience isn't lost.

Against all odds, I'm beginning to mature at the ripe old age of nearly 50.

Part of growing up, for me, will involve developing discipline regarding my emotional states.
At times I wallow in rage and self-pity.  I can choose not to let these conditions develop in the first place,
or to distract myself and get into a better state.  I need to start doing this every day, for my own good.  :apondering:
