My power-hungry computer consumes the energy equivalent of one badger every day.

Wait. Are we talking about converting the badger into pure energy? So your computer is capable of blowing up a mid-sized city?

Not the mass-energy equivalent, just the chemical energy bound up in a badger.  I figured that since humans and computers both ran on roughly 100 watts equivalent (somewhat on the low side for most desktops though), and a badger would feed me for a day, it would keep my computer powered for about a day too if burned and used to power a steam turbine or other heat engine hooked up to a generator.

Are badgers fissionable?

They contain radioactive isotopes, so they're constantly undergoing internal nuclear fission.
