Title: happy festival!
Post by: Lucifer on June 21, 2007, 01:00:23 AM
happy solstice, y'all.

so, here's where you can post all those seasonal greetings, however obscure.   thought it'd be rather jolly to have a thread where we can all exchange warm, fuzzy, fellow feelings about solstices, xmas, thanksgiving, eid, diwali, hannukah, fireworks night, winnie the pooh's unbirthday, etc., etc., all together, in a life-affirming circle of group huggy excitement and love and peace.

:puke:

i think i shall award points for the more obscure/entertaining celebrations posted, although they must be real.

huzzah!  get the beers in!  (except for eid etc., obviously).

(Note: anyone tries to group hug me, and their arse is toast: i will make their suffering excrutiating, humiliating, and last for the rest of their very long and appalling life).

You make it sound worthwhile.

don't be stupid all your life - have a day off.  if you enjoy it, it's not suffering, dur.  so i'd come up with something you'd find most unpleasant.

anyway, wish me a happy festival or fuck off out of the thread, spammywormy boy.

I had a Happy Almost-Run-Out -Of-Petrol Day.

It was a bit of an adrenalin rush and the car made some strange noises.

Happy Solstice to all and to all a good fuck.

The one thing about solstice ... it's the two days each year that my nuts are the same on the right as they are on the left.

How does it work with tits?

Nah, I was just stretching for a joke, sorry.

Lefty is always a little low-and-outside, but also the first to wake up. If I have a fastball, it's Lefty.

Well, there's the rennaiscance festival that apparently starts soon, around here anyway. Is it okay for me to express my wish for you all to have a happy rennaiscance festival taking into considering the highly likely possibility that no one here will even partake in it? I can't think of any other festivals. Maybe we should invent one.

I would go for the plays and costuming, but mostly the music. They can shove their stupid battles and games.

You want to invent an In Tent City Squared festival? Cool!

Well, does the festival itself have to related to the name?Maybe it can be some kind of nonsequiter festival where we show up at some cow pasture wearing bunny suits and start juggling flaming cabbage or something?

Thanks, but it's not mine. I found it on the net after an image search. The paintings I have done I have never scanned (actually they won't scan, because they are on stretched silk).
I had planned to get a decent digital camera again, soon, but I had to spend the six hundred bucks I had saved on my wife's car, yesterday.

Saved it from the site where I "stole" it, to a folder, upload it to tinypic, then repost to the new link.

TinyPic (http://tinypic.com/) is another free image hosting service, like PhotoBucket or ImageShack, but no membership is required to view.
