My dad fought one all summer one year.
I guess he won, but it involved shooting

He needs a better scope on his rifle. That way you don't miss.

That's where he went wrong. My squirrel gun has an $800 Leupold scope on it. You can't spend too much money on quality glass.

Scoped rifles are good, but this is my preferred

I've seen one of those IRL in the Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio.
