My daughter has a big punkin head - is this something indicative of autism?

I think I read something about a correlation between head circumference in young children and ASD.

Here is one article about it:

http://www.courchesneautismlab.org/headcircumference.html

Here is another one:

BTW, I have a big head.  My daughter has a big head too, but not nearly as big as mine.

Have to confess I have a gigantic head.  I was also born a three weeks post term at 10 pounds (in 1966 that was extremely weird)

My daughter was born post term two weeks and was 11 pounds.

Big baby mean something?  I don't know!?

The neurologists have all measured her head with a tape measure a million times and declare it's within limits for normalcy

I see a big head.

AWWWW!  That is such a cute picture, Scrapheap.  Have any more recent ones?

My daughter was three weeks early and weighed six pounds and four ounces.  She was tiny and grew slowly, but she had other health issues because she was born with a VSD.  I was a nine pound baby and my brother was nearly eleven pounds.  He has a big head too.

If I just got my scanner fixed, I could post some old pics of myself as a baby. I think I looked even cuter.  8)

I have been told I have a big head, but I don't think so. Bigger people have bigger heads than I do, sometimes.

Somewhere, there is a thread where a few people measured their heads and posted the results. I know I measured mine and my kids', but my wife was suspicious and wouldn't play.

In that picture he looks like he would GIVE you his candy, but I think that you would have a difficult time getting his candy away from him now days.
