Title: Esperanto
Post by: Scrapheap on April 28, 2007, 11:03:57 PM
Since this is an International site, why don't we all talk in the TRUE International language, Esperanto.   :wanker:

I love Klingon! They have no word for "apologize" or "peacekeeper",  and probably not "humility" or "bully" either.

How many more are missing?

I'd imagine the Swede's would have an easier time pronouncing it because it's more similar to their language.

I wouldn't want to give them an unfair advantage.  ;)

It's similar to Swedish? :0 I doubt it, from what little I've seen of it.

Most of the German language sounde like a cat coughing up a furball.

Swedish is germanic and Klingon sounds like German.

Hey, I have a german friend from nursing school.....of course she would be proud to say she speaks like a cat coughing up a hairball.  But, then she's crazy like me.....thats why we're friends! :evillaugh:

Esperanto is a language concocted by a bunch of people with too much time on their hands, too much idealism and way too much hope that humans would ever give up their petty nationalisms.

Oh BTW, did I ever mention that I was an optimistic cynic! :evillaugh:
