They are crashing the ship like they planned to do from the start...blatant cronyism, authoritarianism.
Their rich friends are salivating over their plates waiting like wolves to buy up the goods at the upcoming fire sale.

Mussolini, if I had to pick one. I'm not all that familiar with Franco's theory and assume it to be dictatorial pragmatism. Mussolini, however, is a different matter.

The Fascist State organizes the nation, but it leaves the individual adequate elbow room. It has curtailed useless or harmful liberties while preserving those which are essential. In such matters the individual cannot be the judge, but the State only.
This is key, assuming actual thought.
Trump is not capable of this but Musk certainly is, as are his like-minded individuals behind Project 2025.

You know how the idea is to replace your government with billionaires? That requires them to first make sure that the government you elected cannot function.
