Post by: Genesis on January 05, 2025, 06:26:17 PM
I was slightly immature in 2011 when I came on here for the first time. I thought a redo Q&A was necessary.

You've been here for over 10 years! Do you feel old?

Yeah, I feel old... but I feel strangely unique.

We are all unique. Let's say it together.

We are all unique... even if the American Political Landscape is taken over by an Orange Cheeto with Mommy Issues.

How do we survive the next 4 years?

We plan a strategy for how we vote for the mid-terms in 2026... that's not that far ahead, be prepared and VOTE YOUR ASS OFF!

Everyone who is eligible should do their best to vote.

Things may have turned out a lot different had EVERYBODY voted.

Or if people stood up to Donnie Dumbass and stopped him and his family from having too much power.

Hey have you played baseball? I know you watch and follow it.

My second cousin played baseball for Australia at the Olympics (not sure which ones), his name is Clayton Byrne.

My second cousin played baseball for Australia at the Olympics (not sure which ones), his name is Clayton Burne.

I wasn't particularly athletic enough for it... I was in a buddy baseball program before I realized I was autistic.

Did your cousin make it on the roster for the WBC to make the bracket at all?

I'm not sure, I only know the basics. He played for Australia in the 2000 Olympic games. He also played for Perth Heat which is our state team. Don't know if he plays any more because he's in his 50s.

Baseball has been an interest of mine since I used to watch Sammy Sosa play. He was one of my favorites on the Cubs (the team I root for).. after Sosa there was a lot of other players who became favorites to keep track of... The underrated one was a Canadian Pitcher named Rich Harden

Have you collected baseball cards?

Yeah on/off in childhood I did... As of now, I rebuilt my collection.

Like me with stamps. I collected them when I was 12/13, then left it until a couple of years ago when I was at the Salvos and saw a book full of New Zealand stamps. I still had my collection from when I was a kid and just added to that.

I know some baseball cards are rare and worth a lot of money.

The rarest ones are the ones in prestine condition.

What about ones that have been signed? Or is that not a thing on baseball cards?

It's a thing... I have one that was a limited edition signed card... though I'm not sure how much it would be appraised because I'm not familiar with the player on the card.
