Which Disney character are you most like? :green: or maybe you could say which Disney character you think other members are most like. :eyebrows:
-
I think that I'm pretty much like Donald Duck. I don't quack, though. ;)
-
aladdin- i am a diamond in the rough.
-
I'd be curiuos to know what disney char you guys think I'm like. McJ, I don't think you're very Disney-ish. More Bakshi-ish. (sp?)
-
i do not know what that is!

Magica De Spell? :dragon:
-
i do not know what that is!

-
yes, i could be fritz the cat.
-
I am having trouble thinking of a female in disney movies that is strong enough to be you PMS. Perhaps Princess Jasmine.

see, i am aladdin.
-
The princess could have done better. She was just smitten with him because he saved her life and shit, she was much smarter than him, I guess she figured it wasn't going to get much better than him.

i guess if she was dead then she would have had a shitload of options.
-
Definitely Ariel.
-
He's the hero, he didn't save her on the premise that he was promised poontang. At least not in a disney movie. She could have thanked him, and sent him on his way, and got back to running through suitors. And just because he saved her does not mean she is in any way required to marry him.
Keeping in mind that Jasmine was a modern western world woman who lived in Arabia, 800AD, and her father was a pussy..
-
I think I would have to be Belle...she loves her books, she is perpetually dreaming of getting away from mundane life, she falls in love with a flawed and damaged character, and sees through other people. :green:
-
Belle was the other strong character I considered. The reason I picked Jasmine was because Jasmine has a wild quality to her as well as having an attitude.
-
Yah. Never watched Aladdin as much as Lion King and Beauty And The Beast. I identify with both Belle and the Beast actually. I always have identified with the outcasts, like phantom of the opera and the like. But Belle...yes, She suits me more as she does have that soft side...she has a certain wildness too though, in her determination to break free of the confines of society.

she could be dead. what part of that don't you understand.
should i speak slower.
-
Alice in Wonderland, maybe?
-
How does her doing better relate to her being dead or not? She didn't die. Alladin saved her. Afterwards she could have kicked his ass to the curb, and found somebody better.
-
What the fuck, you're talking about new Disney characters. I just like the old ones that have been there since Walt Disney himself was alive: Donald Duck; Hewey, Dewey and Lewey; Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Clarabella Cow, etc.
-
"QUIET!"
I'll be Friend Owl, the grumpy owl who never gets enough sleep and becomes a little annoyed with all the damn happy chirping around him, from "Bambi"
-
I don't think I'm a disney princess. I'm more of a weird sidekick or even villian. Maybe the Genie in aladdin on my good days.

I'm waiting for Tig to answer this one, for you, McJ.
-
I'm afraid that that's what would've happened in real life. I mean, what nomaken says.
-
I thought Aladdin and Jasmine in the Disney movie were very well matched. Who could have been better for her? Aladdin showed Jasmine a whole new world that she could not have envisioned. He sincerely cared about her and not what she could do for him. Aladdin was the diamond in the rough. When he stole bread because he was so hungry, he gave it away to children who were even hungrier than he was.

make no mistake how a woman is controlled by her guilt.

It makes sense, but it is a lot more ruthless than Jasmine would really be. But I like the idea of Jasmine being that ruthless.
Also: I identify with both Belle and the Beast too.

you can be the beast and i will be your belle! :eyebrows:

I was of approxinately the right age to watch the TV show version when it was on. I'm still amused (at 20) by one episode where Jasmine worried about againg and becoming less beautiful, so she asked Aladdin if he loved her because of her beauty. He got this nervous look and said "Uh, yeah, sure." Wrong answer, bad results, and relatively realistic when you take out the genie and the fact that she turned into a snake.
-
nope. what's she from?
She's a witch that always tries to steal the first dime that Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck's uncle, earned.

Guilt which man, himself, has placed at her feet. Allowing her to absolve herself of guilt will help her become a much more stable and reliable, and even predictable in some important ways, individual.

And on the subject of tests like this...
My score on The Which Disney Character Are You Test:
**************************************
Queen of Hearts
(You scored 38 Kindness, 37 Morality, and 52 Wisdom!)
"You spend your upbringing going to the finest schools, being educated in the running of Wonderland as a strong ruler. Your parents dished out thousands of dollars for college and you always got excellent grades. But instead you only want to play croquet? All the time? Well, although it's odd, at least you know what you like. Fortunately you are very intelligent and have a solid base of morals on your shoulders. Even so, your lack of kindness leaves you playing alone often. Look for a man with a nice head of flames and a lot of time on his hands, like Hades, for a good match."

My score on The Disney Villain/Villainess Test:
**************************************
Lady Tremaine
(24% evil #1, 64% evil #2, 38% evil #3, 0% evil #4)
"Movie: Cinderella
Also known as the evil step-mother. The thing that makes her so great is the way she spreads her evilness by attacking Cinderella's spirit and state of mind. She treats her like a slave and pretty much mentally abuses her. I think that makes her one of the best."

My score on The What Disney Female are you Test:
**************************************
Esmerelda
(You scored 66 Independence, 36 Romance, 58 Loyalty, and 88 Practicality!)
"You are Esmerelda! Like her, you have a good sharp mind, and can look after yourself, no one could catch you if you didn't want to be caught! Although you can be a romantic, you wouldn't be fooled into a relationship that was bad for you, you'd rather be a bit suspicious of people until you know they are definately good. Despite hardship and bad circumstances, you can always be counted on to fight and not give in, to not lose hope. You take stregnth from religion or within rather than from family or your lover, and can exist quite happily on your own although you like being social too. You are one of the strongest disney heroines, witty, firey, passionate, strong willed, and nimble, making everyone want you, but getting your own way and doing your own thing. "

Ariel.
Damn you, I was supposed to get Ariel
Hey, If you notice my score was equal for Goofy and Ariel. I choose Friend Owl earlier, because I wanted to seem grumpy, but more animal than one of the "Dwarfs". I almost chose Goofy at first, but Goofy is not grumpy enough, only dysfunctional. So, if you want, I'll trade Ariel for Goofy and I'll even try to be less grumpy, just to show you "what a swell guy" I am.

Belle
You scored 46 Kindness, 34 Morality, and 57 Wisdom!
You are a very balanced individual. You are not only intelligent and have good morals, but you are also kind and loving. You are a true Disney princess at heart. Your book smarts and morality make you a good leader. In addition, your kindness brings people to your cause and inspires those who work for you. As long as you continue valuing kindness, you will go far in whatever you choose to do. You deserve a king so try to spend time with Mufasa.

My score on The What Disney Female are you Test:
**************************************
Ariel
(You scored 63 Independence, 68 Romance, 61 Loyalty, and 56 Practicality!)
"You are Ariel! Ariel is for some the ultimate disney heroine, the girl who defies everything she knows for the sake of love. While you care a great deal about your family and friends, and would never settle for a subservient, obiedient life style, love is everything to you. You are brave, cunning, a little reckless, with an enquiring mind and a personality all of your own, but you are ultimately a dreamer rather than a realist, risking everything you care about for the chance of a dream, something you long for. Your idealism makes you an utterly charming girl and your friends would follow you everywhere, but you do sometimes get into a bit of danger by not being cautious or thinking things through. You don't listen to your parents if their advice dosen;'t suit you, which is good, you aren't just a brainless follower, but sometimes a little wisdom would be nice. You also would leave your friendships behind for true love, even though they mean a lot to you. Luckily for you, everything will always turn out okay, because you are good at heart, but sometimes others despair of your single minded devotion to the one you love, although it is very romantic. Lively and fun, you can be a little naiive, but ultimately you are a determined and lole person. "

Hades
You scored 36 Kindness, 45 Morality, and 50 Wisdom!
I suppose a flaming thumb is more impressive than a green thumb. Regardless, being Lord of the Underworld has given you quite a bit of wisdom over time. Unfortunately, your sense of justice and kindness aren't quite as refined. This makes sense when your primary job is to punish mortals and attempt to take your brother's throne. Fortunately your unnatural abilities give you the answer to hair loss: blue flames. You will never be bald, but it's lonely being the boss. Look for another person of power, like the Queen of Hearts to keep the flames burning. Croquet anyone?
