No, he used to write for Vanity Fair. He died a number of years ago

The two brothers were estranged most of their lives because they were, for the most part, on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

They only reconciled as their father's health declined.

Christopher's was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years later.
