Title: Bernie vs Hillary?
Post by: Al Swearegen on May 18, 2016, 07:27:23 AM: I want Hillary to win the nomination but I want it to be a lot closer. In fact there is about 300 pledged votes between them. She has practically all the superdelegates who "can" change their minds.
I want him to pull an upset and get more pledged delegates than her and her to win solely because of the superdelegates.
The Sanders supporters will go CRAZY!
It will be very funny. It will split the party. Hillary will struggle against Trump IF she does not have legal problems and I think she will have them. She will win but there will be fun.
Poor Bernie.

It doesn't really matter who people vote for in the presidential election. It matters who people vote as their representatives. Electoral votes generally agree with the popular vote, but there have been instances where presidents were elected who did not win the popular vote.

I think you may be right but from where I stand and at the moment, it looks better for Trump.
If the FBI probe and the Foundation probe gets shelved AND she makes up to the Bernie Supporters in some way, then favours her and Trump would then only have to say something stupid or without nuance that would look really bad...that would be almost guaranteed
