Some Belgians name it the Atlantic wall. They do have a sense of humour. Not only ugly, also losing any defence against high water, building this way nearly everywhere on the coast.

Not a horse girl, never was. But those I find awesome. Just like their relatives the Zeeuwse Paarden (https://www.google.com/search?q=zeeuws+paard&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CB0QsARqFQoTCK-X0bvnsMcCFYJZGgodjhAIVw&biw=1366&bih=631).
Remember my dad plowing a field with either a Belg or a Zeeuw. Awesome creatures.
