Title: For poor Odeon
Post by: benjimanbreeg on January 18, 2015, 03:48:57 PM
www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVtIPCIvsdc (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVtIPCIvsdc#)

Now.  Why have all the reports from numerous news outlets been completely forgotten and swept under the rug, about all the explosions coming from the lower part of the building in one of the trade towers or the one from Building 7?  As well as the Israelis being arrested on the bridge with explosives in their vans and also seen celebrating when the plane hit the building, then being deported back to Israel and saying on an Israeli talk show that they were there to "film the event".

No wonder we have some of the most powerful people in the world trying to stop "conspiracy theorists"  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cass_Sunstein (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cass_Sunstein)   http://www.globalresearch.ca/british-pm-david-cameron-non-violent-extremists-including-911-truthers-and-conspiracy-theorists-are-just-as-dangerous-as-isil-terrorists/5405059 (http://www.globalresearch.ca/british-pm-david-cameron-non-violent-extremists-including-911-truthers-and-conspiracy-theorists-are-just-as-dangerous-as-isil-terrorists/5405059)

I agree with them, the truth is very dangerous, for them.  And before you start going on about "kooks"

And actually watch the videos before you come back with some snotty and condescending reply.

That first video is really long, man. I don't think anyone who doesn't really have an interest in 911 conspiracy theory is going to watch it, and the ones who do have probably already seen it all by now.  :dunno:

I've never heard of murder, genocide, war (ect) being committed over a conspiracy theory.

Mass murder over conspiracy theories, but no wars or genocide. I think I can still say that religion is a lot more harmful.

Still, if what you believe in is worth killing people over...Start with yourself.  :grrr:

No you can't. The Soviets were motivated by the quasi-religion of Stalinist Communism. The ideology incorporates all the same mind control elements as religion

The Soviets did not do anything in the name of Atheism. Atheism is not a religion. It is a lack of said religion. A belief in science in logic over faith and outdated books. Morality is not based upon who your imaginary friend is.

A lack of beliefs in invisible sky gods is not evil. Believing in invisible sky gods is not evil. Using your belief in said invisible sky gods as "justification" to hurt people, whether that is denying civil rights, committing hate crimes or committing mass murder.

Now that's fucking evil.

The Soviets liquidated millions of religious people, because of their religion.  So if a religious government liquidated millions of atheists, because they weren't religious, would you say it had nothing to do with religion?

I'm an atheist, but not the kind of cult your part of, who spend most of their days thinking about religion.  Lots of the crimes throughout history would have happened with or without religion.  Leaders and such use it to rally people together to support the same cause, when they are frauds themselves.

Yes, because Stalinism was a rival religion and it's one of the characteristics of religion to try to eliminate the competition.

You are surprisingly ignorant of how religion works.

Stalin, Trotsky and Lenin, liquidated people because they were religious.  Stalinism was a political ideology, not a religion.  Stalin killed millions in the name of communism, but that doesn't mean communism is evil, and Marx and Engels would be turning in their grave i'd imagine.

Stalin, Trotsky and Lenin, liquidated people because they were religious. Stalinism was a political ideology, not a religion.

That's where you are wrong. Stalinism included many clearly supernatural claims about Stalin and the effects of his policies.

When you marry a totalitarian dogma with the supernatural, you're clearly well within religious territory. Kim-ism is an even more clear example of this.

This is why they killed so many religious believers, the same reason that ISIS does. All religions spread by outcompeting rival religions, this means killing all who won't convert.

Yes, he thought he was a super being, it has nothing to do with religion.

And so, Trotsky and Lenin killing millions who were religious?

If Team America hadn't swarmed in, there'd be no ISIS.  Isn't it funny that they've gone in and attacked secular countries like Iraq and Syria?  Or at least helped with the Syrian conflict.  Saddam and Assad would keep these types out of the way.

This thread is deeply satisfying.  With the way the world spins so quickly and seemingly out of control, it's emotionally comforting to know that there is a small corner of the internet that I can go and visit, where the characters never change though the conversation does.  It's like knowing that your favorite sitcom will never be cancelled and never grow stale. :)

It would seem sock by definition of this site is one active member using two active accounts, as there's members with more than one account but aren't considered socks as they're only using one of them. So to answer the question, yes and no. No, Possum may simply be a new account of someone who has been here before and is only actively using one account. Yes, have more than once considered Possum is you.

Possum was here long enough that she should have developed her own voice, and sometimes that would start to happen, but no sooner than that would happen, she's say something so profoundly you. Don't ever tell me if right or wrong; it makes it all the more interesting.

It's not only the things said, but also subtleties in writing which are harder to explain. Some writing characteristics are learned in childhood so very difficult to change. She has one such characteristic which is very consistent and nothing you ever do. So that alone tells me, no, probably not you.

Yeah, my ability to spell was severely hamperd by the fact that my school used me as a guinea pig to test out the ITA (Initial Teaching Alphabet) program. It took me years to un-learn the system and I was never that good at spelling afterwards.

Belief in the supernatural is mutually exclusive to being an atheist.

So which one was it? Was Stalin an atheist or did he believe that he had supernatural powers??

Do you remember hearing about the Radio Guy (Rush Limbaugh) who was trying to inspire soccer moms, here in the USA, with his "fake" program called "Keep Our Own Kids Safe" and as his support for their cause became more and more satirical it was revealed that it was "KOOKS" that he was pretending to care about?

You have to understand that these soccer moms were trying to END soccer here in the USA, because a few kids had been injured playing soccer.
So, "Keep Our Own Kids Safe,"  right?

I generally wear what would be called a "cowboy hat"  or a ball cap, depending upon my expected exposure to the weather.

For an hour our so, in hot sun, a ball cap. Several hours or doing work in hot sun, a straw "cowboy hat"  - do not give a fuck who is watching or caring.

Miserable weather, rainy, whatever; then I use one of my many felt or wool cowboy hats. Do not give a fuck about the stares. I know better AND  my hat works better.

Fuck these idiots here in Indiana who make fun of southerners for their ways; I wear a cowboy hat when I need one.

I think hats are nice. Here, very few people wear hats these days, which is a shame.

SJW types believe in all kinds of shit. Maybe they believe that fedoras are actually in charge of the men and therefore, "teh patriarchy".  :autism: :tinfoil:

I wear US military-type "Boonie Hats". Then I starch them to be shaped like a fedora.    8)
