This weekend, if you happen to notice I'm not posting, I'll tell you right now why. Some of you might rejoyce in my absence and pray that I'm dead. Sorry to let you down........ I should still be alive and kicking when next week is over.
The powers that be at work have finnaly gotten off thier butts and decided to send me to higher education.
I'll be leaving on Saturday for Cleveland where I'll be going to the Lincoln Electric Advanced Motorsports Welding Seminar. Over the weekend however, I'm going to be seeing one of my old Marine Corps buddies I have'nt seen in almost 10 years. We're going to do some sight-seeing in the area including a trip to the Air and Space museum and the Rock&Roll hall of fame. I'll take some pics and post them When I get back on Thursday.
-
Good luck, I liked welding and was good at it in High School but never took it to the other level sorry to say. :(
-
I'll bet you have fun and learn a lot in the next week.
-
Have a good time, Scrapheap! I've been missing you on the board lately.
-

I'm a beer snob too. I will only drink German or Czech lager if I buy beer in the liquor store. It's much manlier than being a sissy wine snob. 8)

Scrapheap, that is great. Don't forget us while you're gone :green: and give us some welding tips when you're back.

I'm only a welder by default. I think of myself as a CNC Prototype Machinist/Engineer. The only reason I weld is because we've got this rookie Crewchief who's still learning to tune a Nitro Engine. He makes a lot of beginner mistakes and blows up a lot of parts. I think his name is..............Austin Coil. ;)

Thanks DirtDawg! With the resume I'm building up, I could work for anyone except maybe a Formula1 team.

Have a good time, Scrapheap! I've been missing you on the board lately.
I've been real busy lately. New girlfriend, busy at work making parts for next race season, shoping for an RV, building my own race car etc, etc....

Umm, that's why I'm buying an RV.
Tow vehicle+place to stay at the track to save on hotel rooms.

I've been piecing together a Fuel Injected Super/Comp Dragster for a couple of years now. I've bought most of the parts, now I just need to make all the parts fit.
-
Cool! I didn't know that.
This topic calls for pictures, now.

We do need to see pics of Scrapheap's race car project, though ... even if it's only a couple of rails and a rear axle at this point.
-
Yeah that be nice to see pictures the Dragster project.

Did anyone else enjoy being called a nigga? O0
It makes me feel like a black panther in one of the way cool jackets.
-
I've been called a red headed nigger by an Apache, before, but never a 'nigga'.

Well, I'm at John Wayne Airport getting my drunk on, waiting to board my plane, posting from my phone (MDA's are cool) (so are bars in airports that open at 6:00 am!!!) hehehehehehehe

cheaper to drink before hand and then smuggle two of the airline sized shots into the airport in your crotch (assuming a plastic cap).
how often have you been patted down, down there?

What kind of software allows you to post from a phone?
-
I'm all for airport bars being open around the clock. It's always tea time somewhere.
Once, I and two band buddies stayed behind to take in some sites and flew back to re-join the band later. One guy made the mistake of thinking he could save his leftover beer in his checked baggage. Big mistake ... lots of shaking ... lower air pressure ... beer soaked clothes on arrival. Always throw left over beer away or give it to a drunk, but never pack into your bags.

Coors Light in cans. I'm guesing your bottles will be fine, just let them settle before you open them.

My phone has Windows on it.
Should I ask you about the exact specs of that phone, or just continue imagining a beast with a gazillion gigabytes of memory etc to handle the minimum install requirements?

It's a T-Mobile MDA with Winows Mobile. I would have to log off to open up the controll panel to get the specs, but if you go to T-Mobile's website and click on phones, scroll down to the MDA and they should have the specs there. Actually, the phone isn't that big.
