:agreed:
I looked them up here (http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/2812030420) and it said they sometimes say they just want you to verify your Yellow Pages listing, then when you say "Yes," they use the recording of your voice to make it sound like you agreed to suscribe to their $59.99 a month listing, then they threaten to take it to collections if you don't pay.

I've been tired for a week now.
Can you ever get to bed early or sleep late? For me, getting to sleep in occasionally makes a big difference.
-
you could get some of those glasses with eyeball lenses, then snooze at work! :tard:
as long as you don't snore though, that would give the game away.
-
This weather, with rel. high humidity, we're having makes my joints (like elbows, wrists, hands and knees) hurt more. It's a chronic buggery I inherited from both sides of parents. Yay.

Only when I've slept too little for longer periods. Normally I'd just be awake for hours if going to bed early, and my 12-yo boss would have a fit if I slept in.

I had a numb lip from the dentist. Woke this morning and i look like i done a couple of rounds with Tyson. Must have bitten it. duhhh.
-
Ouch.
-
ouch indeed. fat lips are ugly.
:viking:
-
I hate that, bodie. Well, I hate dentists full stop, 'nuff said. I Cannot Fucking Stand having my gob probed and poked, let alone teeth yanked/drilled etc. I've broken a tooth a few times, once in somebody's face (not deliberately), after running into the guy at my first spesh school playing football. Ran right into him at full tilt, and we both tripped at pretty much the same moment, result being me 'biting' his skull and splitting my tooth in half diagonally, with half of it getting left buried in his forehead and half broken off at the base of the jawbone (mine, not his);
ended up with a dental abscess.
And believe you fucking me, dental abscesses are absolute misery made flesh, nothing hurts quite that bad. Had to have surgery under a full general, then unfortunately I got scripted penicillin, and being young and Kanner's autie, would they listen when I kept telling them I was one step away from anaphylaxis? would they fuck. I know what I was talking about, even then I had biochem and pharmacology as a hobby.
And just as bad, they wouldn't give me ANY painkillers for the abscess. And also, the penicillin came as this vile tasting sugar-free orange flavoured dog shite. Even now, when the pharmacy I buy codeine linctus from only has the sugar free orange one, I nearly relch every time I taste it. They sell two kinds, one the sweetened one, this lurid highlighter pen-yellowish green stuff thats flavoured with a little CCl3. Tasty stuff. The other has the exact same artificial orange flavour sugar free hideous monstrosity as the penicillin that was forced on me as a kid. Yes, I will still buy it and neck it if its all they have to sell, but it really does make me want to vomit up my spleen each and every time I taste it, or even smell it.
-
Yes dental pain is terrible. I have to go back on thursday, but i will get my crown back. I have had a gap for a couple of weeks and have been talking with a bit of a listthhhhp! A bit like Toyah Wilcox, although you are probably too young to remember her.
Anyway, gob hasn't felt right without it, so roll on thursday :viking:

A slip of my fingers, your Highness, it was getting late, and the day had been long. I also did not wear my reading glasses. Not wearing them now either. So, who knows what words may turn out not to be the ones I wanted in this post.
I'll leave the tasty Crip to Shleed, and will myself have a bag of crisps. Less entertaining, I am sure, but, good to kill a sudden craving for a snack.
-
I think buttercups and clover would be better than crisps.
-
Buttercups? doubt it. The entire Ranunculus family is full of acrid, toxic and in general noxious properties. Some will even blister skin if handled carelessly.
-

You are correct. My research indicates that cows are particularly susceptible to fresh buttercups. Dried buttercups mixed with their hay is safe.

dysfucntional families with parents who stress their kids out by insisting that the cure to genetically based illnesses is health food and homeopathic medicine.
most illnesses are exacerbated by stress. both of them know that yet any contact results in unreasonable demands because they are dysfuctional and because to them things like ADHD and Asperger's don't exist.
in their logic, their demands are reasonable so the stress is my fault, as well as the genetic stuff i inherited from them.

One of the more noxious spp. in the crowfoot family hyke.
If you prevent it seeding though it should be eradicated I would think, being an annual. Wear gloves, and IMO eye protection, this plant is HIGHLY irritant, and apparently has even been used in a native american arrow poison.

Filled in 37 fucking online forms, to get restitution of overcharged travelling expenses.
Girl has a subscription, for a month, to travel from home to school, and back. Yet, she still gets charged every day. She takes four buses, and, gets charged on her card on two of them.
And, every restitution of a trip that gets charged need a complete, long form, to be filled in. Took me about 2 hours.
Filed some complaints too, couple of times. Doesn't seem to help.
Filled in some forms a couple of weeks ago too. Takes them three weeks to process the forms, apparently. :puke:

I am so fed up of my bad hip oxycontin actually does a pretty decent at controlling my knee pain, but it doesn't even come close to sorting my hip. Day in dy, out, it feels like somebody is hammering white hot rusty nails into my hip. sometimes its so painful I can hardly walk, unless I boot up 3-4x40 40mg OCs before I go out. I have to take considerably more than that if I have to bear any weight on it,like when I go shopping yet for food'n'stuff. I'll be so damn when I pass my test.

My hair is a snarly mass of clumps and mats. My scalp stings where the knots are pulling it.
But I so love twisting my hair and making knots and loops and winding loops around the knots.
It's my favorite thing to fidget with. Other people have dice, or stress balls.

I saw a woman with a shaved head a few years ago, on the bus, and I envied her.
But I'd look awful with no hair on my big pumpkin head! Though if I ever lose my hair due to illness,
then grow it back, I may leave it very short, even buzzed. I just can't bring myself to cut it now. :P

I'm an avoider. That's why I procrastinate, why I cling to the familiar, why I've been celibate forever,
why I've lived in my city for 27 years without ever having gotten to know any of the cultural scenes.
It's a family pattern, I was just thinking about that today. It's deeply rooted and it's hard to change. :apondering:

My finger joints all stiff and sore at the moment.
'I2 crowd-sourced community meth lab anyone?
Easy enough an art to learn, especially if just beginning, red phosphorus/iodine reduction of pseudo/ephedrine is the best known, as is the Birch-benckiser reduction (AKA the 'nazi method', using the solvated electron 'electride's generated by dissolving lithium metal in anhydrous liquid ammonia) is widely used in the US due to the availability of anhydrous NH3 due to its use as a fertilizer by farmers, dangerous though if one has no chemistry experience, due to the fumes, corrosive properties of ammonia, and the need to handle a cryogenic liquified gas)
No experience with phosphorus acid/hypophosphorus acid-iodine reductions,
Favourite route to amphetamines though has to be condensation of benzaldehyde and nitroethane, catalyzed by a base (TETA, triethylenetetramine has so far given lovely results), that gives an intermediate beta-nitrostyrene or beta-nitropropene depending on if the nitroalkane reagent be nitromethane or nitroethane to give phenethylamines and amphetamines respectively. Very quick route too, a couple of hours work to start from nitroalkane+(substituted) benzaldehyde, about 2 hours IIRC, is what it took whilst working on 2C-D (2,5-dimethoxy-4-methylphenethylamine), reduction times vary with the method used, lithium aluminium hydride is clean and very reliable, fast, but does have the disadvantage that LiAlH4 isn't particularly friendly stuff, it likes to burst into flame on contact with air/atmospheric moisture, glassware needs to be oven-dried immediately before use, the release of lots of hydrogen gas when the finished reaction has gone to completion and needs quenching with water, slowly and carefully.
Aluminium amalgam reduction works for nitrostyrenes, but for some reason apparently not upon nitropropenes.
with
But all in all, it is a great route IMO, I could teach the basics of it in about half an hour probably, although having nobody to learn from I tought myself. I like that the the nitrostyrene/nitropropenes produced in this way are insoluble in water, and methanol so that simplifies actually obtaining one's target from the solvents and synthesis reagents used, the 2C-D nitrostyrene I'm thinking of just crashes out of solution as orange to yellow crystalline needles or flakes, needs a quick wash but thats about it.
Produces ordinary amphetamine/substituted amphetamines though rather than N-methylamphetamines, not too much of a problem though, all in all, probably the method I'd recommend for anybody who's just starting out getting into the hobby.

Heh QV, you know, in all seriousness I would LOVE the chance to meet up with CBC, bring her to my lab, so we could spend some time together practicing different methods of cooking, not just meth, but psychedelics (got some 2C-D nitrostyrene that just needs reducing to the psychedelic phenethylamine), I'd love to teach her how to cook and use that channeling of her inner walter white, bring it out of her, for an outer walter white on the loose.
She'd be lovely to spend time with in general, because actually I really like her, both as a person, and I kinda have the hots for her too. But to cook with, and to teach her the things I know that they wouldn't include on any TV show too, it'd be great.
