some cunt in the House of Lords has rejected the petition to pardon Alan Turring

So what if it was a criminal offense at the time? I thought that was the whole point - that is was wrong to convict anyone for this
Note how the article doesn't even mention that he was chemically castrated two years before he killed himself (the only option he faced other than imprisonment)

I wonder if their point is to avoid lots of people asking for posthumous pardons for their deceased relatives who were convicted of things that were crimes a long time ago that are no longer crimes now?
