I do watch out for people on motorcycles. My older brother and a few other people I know ride.

Oh, got the numbers of passes correct but yeah, missed the dancing dude in bear costume completely the first time watching the clip.

As for the philosophical abstraction(?).. I'm afraid in general you're right there and people, (in general), tend to stick with their (previous settled) perceptions mostly. Some really blind for new 'evidence' that could/should change that particular perception.

Montaigne's 'Que sais je?' seems long gone and forgotten.

Oh well.. (shrugs the skeptic)

I do that for a living. :hyke:

And kids do that here from age 5 or 6 on. (Till then most of them are on the side-walk)
