I really want a 911 after watching that clip, Diesel.
Possibly my favorite Top Gear review
Audi R8 vs Porsche 911

Yeah, saw that one recently.
I think the Audi is ugly.
Jeremy hates 911's.....silly man :dunno:
This is my car

Yes, but as Jeremy said Hammond is quite mad. ;)
I'd drive either of those proudly. That Bathurst is badass. Love the supercharger whine.
I'd still keep my 911 though.
I don't see the appeal of this show. It seems writen in a real gimmicky manner. ::)

You mean gimmicky, so it appeals to the masses and makes a lot of money? How unscrupulous of them.
... It doesn't just deliver the 'tech' stuff which is maybe what a lot of 'tech minded' folks want.

I'm a 'tech minded' folk. :P
I would like the kind of car shows that most people find boring. Like what year the factory changed the casting numbers on the differential housing. :nerdy:
I think it's a law of nature that at least one TV channel every day will be broadcasting one or more Top Gear reruns.
And thank you for posting Bodaccea....
That car will be connected with the plural images from now on for me. :zombiefuck:
Just like I can not see a Fiat Croma without thinking about meat in a frying pan. Croma is a brand for frying margarine.
The mental image of the Ascari is a lot more damaging though.

Looked him up on youtube. Great guitarist but some of the songs were less than convincing. Jezza's right in saying that the title of his CD "I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most of It Left" is one of the best ever, though.

this is a not-very-nice week
what is a human centipede?
uuurggh that is nasty
In the rest of the world. Up until a year or two ago, that was the only way to see Top Gear in the U.S.
who do you think the real stig is?
who do you think the real stig is?
I'm partial to the Häkkinen theory but that's because I'm a Finn.

Mika is awesome. That guy can drive the shit out of anything.
It seems he's a fairly skilled driver, but chooses to be ham-fisted for entertainment.
Here's something I've been wondering lately, when watching Top Gear: How good a driver is Clarkson?
You think the hamster is the better driver of the two?
Don't know... I have a suspicion that Clarkson is the better one of the two.
I've seen some of it but as with the others, I think he is funnier to watch in Top Gear. Clarkson takes up a lot of space, tho.
Yes, but watch this review and see a grown man giggle so much about a car.

I never really warmed to Tiff. He is a bit too posh. Like he swallowed the whole plumb tree or something.
You can download episodes at http://www.finalgear.com (http://www.finalgear.com).
I enjoy Fifth Gear as well, I'm a fan of Tiff Needell.
It's a good one.
And last night I saw the one where Clarkson let the Renault Espace have a close encounter with a train.
You should. It will make you feel better. :orly:
Do you think they might hold a bit of a grudge against us Brits? :zoinks:
