I think it was The Supremes Ain't No Mountain. They were pretty fucking good. The first LP I bought was Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Love Lies Bleeding/Funeral For A Friend and the original version of Candle In The Wind are both great songs.

The first record I ever bought was KISS Double Platinum, I was 11 going on 12.
I used to go around sticking my tongue out all day like Gene Simmons.

Practice pays off, I can touch my chin with the tip of my tongue.
First 45 I think was "My Sharona", by the Knack.

Neither can I but Stone Temple Pilots' single "Plush" comes to mind as one of the first. Apparently they are touring, they have been around for quite a while.
