They are crisps. Less salty I think, and no hard edges, to make it safe for kids.
And apparently you can even play games on their website (http://www.pom-bear.co.uk/pom-bear-snacks).

Soph: done it, but you have to watch which flavours you do it with.

BBQ and Hot Tomato chips don't tend to go well.

I just had loads of vinegar on my chips

couldn't imagine chips without vinegar  :o

salt and vingerar crisps from marks and spencers are nice, but I think they only sell them in multipakcs with ready salted and cheese and onion. very salty

Chips come with mayonnaise, ketchup, curry or peanut-sauce here. And then there is the "patatje oorlog", chips on war, with three sauces, mayonnaise, peanut-sauce, and either curry or ketchup, and fresh chopped onions coming with it too. Delicious. If I go for "patatje oorlog" I choose the curry version.

chips and mayo are yummy. My favourite are sweet potato with mayo for dipping. Yum!

Canadian favourite is still poutine though. Smothered in gravy and cheese curds.

Wedges (fucking BIG chips) with sour cream and chives are scrummo.

Chips with gravy are sold here as well.

Funny thing is, we tend to call crisps chips, but they are referred to as 'potato chips'.

Battered potato slices are either 'potato cakes' or 'potato scallops', depending on which state you're in.

We have scallops here

Those little shellfish thingies that are as hot as when you bite them?

Or the potato cake variety?

Get's confusing where you happen to ask for them.

I meant the potatos- like chips (fries) but round rather than chip-shaped

I used to have them with beans or spaghetti shapes lol

That's probably where we got the idea from, given that most Aussie stuff from early on was originally British.

Pity you can't get one of these:
