Why do some of you say; "Shall do it" instead of I shall do it and "Will pick you up" instead of I will pick you up?

My dad says so, the gay nazi guy says it, odeon says it, the people in general says it, why?

I'm so annoyed by this, I want to show them the kittens page in ED just to humiliate them, I got annoyed when Sol said "will be cool" when I said I was gonna upload a videogame walkthrough on Youtube.

I'd *never* say "shall do it". If you find a single occurrence of me saying this anywhere on this board, it's a case of me missing the "i" on the keyboard while typing.

"Will do", however, is different. I'd explain but since language isn't one of your stronger points, I can't be arsed.

BTW: seeing how you get your knickers in a twist over the finer points of language, it's not "people says", "in ED" or "gonna". Humiliation comes in so many forms.
