Title: I cannot believe what I have just witnessed...
Post by: DukeNukem on April 06, 2010, 06:59:12 PM
The worst anime movie ever. It's called "Sword for Truth" (more like "Shit for Lies"), and it's about... I do not know and I do not give a damn! This movie made hardly any sense whatsoever. It was supposed to be an action anime movie with ninjas, samurais, hot girls, and sex. Well, you get plenty of that, but it all comes out cheaper than a stale package of ramen noodles at a small town junk store.

Here's a review:

Even with the lesbian sex scenes, this movie is not worth the watch. In short...

I hate that hedgehog who made that movie!

I give "Sword for Truth" five middle fingers up.

For every Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll or Cowboy Bebop, there are ten or twenty that fit the classification, "WTF IS THIS SHIT."

It's easier to write "WTF IS THIS SHIT", compared to, y'know, some actual quality.

eh. the film. i didnt know they made more :(

well, its tricky tho. good mangas are always so damn epic. a true animation would last like 12 hours or something :S

i loved the animation of "barefoot gen", i loved the manga as a kid, i used to read it at the public library, in the "grownup-section" :D
an old librarian once thought i was lost, and showed me back to the infantile crap comics in the kids section. i was SO offended...

The film is quite different to the series - having watched the film, then watched Stand Alone Complex, then read the manga, I'd say that SAC is closer to the manga than the films.
