Think I'll get myself an iTouch after Christmas.
Loaded iMobsters on my sons and I've been playing the damn thing after he goes to bed at night until the battery runs down. Haven't got it wrapped yet.
Bad mom.
-
PJ pants in blue and a pair of cute knitted slippers. Spent a whole whopping $11 in total.
Slippers (but mine are in shades of blue)

Does it count if you gave them to yourself early?
If so then I bought myself a few books last week
-
Of course it counts. I bought my mp3 player this past week.
-
A stack of Golf Discs from Gotta Go, Gotta Throw.com (http://www.gottagogottathrow.com/)
I got a stack of Gateway Voodoo putters that are $$$$$$!!! 8)
-
That lens, but I already mentioned that.
Might get something in the January sales.
-
The only things that I can think of that I have bought for myself recently are things like a shower seat, a rubber cast cover, and a pack to attach to the knee walker that I rented.
-
i saved money, for my prize that i want. my mother gave me a flask, boxers and water that smells good

Kevlar sleeves. (https://www.sitebox.ltd.uk/product/7549/touchstone-cut-resistant-kevlar-sleeve-with-thumb-slot-18inch-each/)

I suppose my synthesizer counts as an early gift. It was certainly intended as one but I couldn't wait. :zoinks:
And I bought myself a memory card reader thingy.

They're cool, but what will you be cutting while you use them?

Wood, mostly, with various power and hand tools. They'll also give me some protection when gardening, since my arms tend to get pretty scratched up by thorny plants, and they'll help when I'm lifting heavy, awkward, rough things like rocks and slabs. I have a pair of kevlar gloves that I got a while ago, and they've been very durable. The only damage to them so far is where they got snarled in a drill bit, and I was able to stitch them up with a little dental floss. The sleeves proved useful yesterday; I was walking my dog and she insisted on dragging me through patch after thorny, tangled patch of brambles, but I was wearing the sleeves at the time, and emerged without any of the usual scratches to my arms and thorn tips stuck under my skin.

PS3 Slim pack with GTA4 and Assassin's Creed
Plus a PS3 Bluetooth Remote.
Mainly bought it because I wanted a stand alone Blu-ray player and a bit more money also gets you a games machine.
Loving it as a up-scaling DVD player too. Playing the shit out of Assassin's Creed.
It goes nicely with my 50" Full HD Plasma.
-
I'll be paying off my credit card with all my Christmas money.

They aren't presents, they are necessities! Looks like you still have to buy yourself a proper present. :)
I bought myself blue camouflage pants and a Star Trek shirt.
-
A HD HDD Camcorder for making homemade pornos once I start banging chicks again, which is my number one New Year's resolution!
A bunch of books and discounted iTunes cards to download music.
A Playstation 3 for watching my HD pornos once I start filming in the New year.

For gosh sakes, Trig, don't tell the lasses that you're filming in HD! You know how girls are. They get soooo self-conscious about lots of things. Placement and quality of tats and piercings; the efficacy of their latest waxing job; how their hair colour looks on camera. You know, those sorts of things.
Phlexor, I read out your post to my kids, and they were groaning with envy right up to the mention of the 50-inch plasma. Then the groans turned to laughter and they said, "Now he's just showing off."
I got myself the Terminator Salvation 2-disc edition with bonus t-shirt, but haven't watched the movie yet because my older boy is playing the shit out of Trauma Center: Second Opinion for the Wii, and that uses the biggest screen we've got. [/pout]

Hehe, tell them that the older you get, the bigger the toys get. The 50" was a family present last xmas.
Yeah I have both those Trauma Centre games for the Wii and they are pretty cool, something different in gaming at least (plus me and the wife watch the shit out of ER, so the medical thing is cool).

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince dvd.
-
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince dvd.
Ditto.
And also bought:
Wolverine Origins
Rumpole of the Bailey complete series
Quantum Leap seasons 3-5
Bought them on Amazon during their Black Friday week. ;D
-
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince dvd.
My husband bought me that and also a Chanel No. 5 gift set.
-
Nothing, except making a real effort to get a X-mas bread.
It's not in our tradition to put gifts under the Christmas tree.

What's Chanel No. 5 like? Easy on the senses for people who are perfume picky?

I think it smells nice, kind of a subtle blend between musk and flowers like roses, jasmine, and lily of the valley.
You could probably get a sample from a department store perfume counter if you want to try it out.

Hmmm, may like it then...
I'll try and remember to get a whiff of some next time I'm passing through a department store (provided I'm able to stand the general stench of the perfume department long enough to try out the Chanel No. 5). Every time I go through those departments, I think of Mr. Bean crawling on his belly through the store with his tie up to his nose.

I'm gonna spend my xmas money on books and cool shit

I bought Duke Nukem 3D again. :2thumbsup:

Shooting Zombies with a shotgun, what more can you ask for.
-
That's about as good as life gets I reckon.
-
Yup. But you can also spend your time shooting Germans. I was hooked on Battlefield 1942 a few years ago. :orly:
-
Nope. Zombies FTW. QED.
-
Aliens? :P
-
Aliens? :P
Hmmm...
I'll have to take this into consideration and get back to you.
