Looked through a house that's going to be gutted and renovated thought some might like the photos. The whole place was creepy as fuck. It was right near Yale

I love going into old houses like that. It's like I can "feel" the history. All the people, all the memories, the laughing, the fights, the holidays, births, deaths, lifetimes of events and stories. Where the house came from, who built it, what had been done to it over the years, how it came to be the way it is. I can stand for hours in a place like that and just let it flood my head.
-
there's places like that everywhere back east. i'd move in, fix it up myself and just live there for free. you dont see places like that out here where i live. no abandoned houses :(
-
It looks pretty good from the outside. What happened, did the roof leak?

I feel the same way wish I could go in more legally like this one. It must have been nice when it was being lived in it had been turned into some sort of dorm or boarding house before I got there. I got to go in because I am bidding on some of the work being done. I don't know if the roof leaked or a pipe froze it had been vacant awhile. Somebody was fixing it up but ran out of money Here's a few more

Then I must brag about the old church again. It's more than 500 years older than the oldest building in America. The paintings are from about 1750, though, made by a German painter. 8)

Awesome Lit.
What are those things hanging on the left side from the ceiling of the balcony? Look like antlers.

They used to worship Thor and Odin in that place before Christianity, so it's not impossible.
