Title: Wired driving
Post by: WolFish on July 01, 2009, 02:28:37 PM: I discovered that if I take enough stimulants I can overcome the calming effect of the Ritalin I take. I am going to try to make it to Orlando from Holyoke Mass in one day - rest room stops only. I am stopping in New York near Danbury to pick up an air conditioner. Then I am going to drive until I feel tired, then get stoked on caffeine, guarana and whatever else they put in those drinks.

With any luck I will post a couple of times from the road.

I am going different this time - 84 to 81 to 77 to 95 (i think). I am going to try to hit Washington in the wee hours or at least early in the morning. Then it's 95 straight through to Orlando.

I know I'm not the only one who drives like this.

i have coffee crystals in a jar that i can put in chocolate milk. i have caffeinated water.

how far is pittsburgh from minneapolis? i spent a summer in minneapolis years ago.

if it weren't for the mormons i would put utah on my bucket list

I have driven straight through from Birmingham to San Antonio before, but it's not quite that far, I think.

Ended up being about a thousand miles. Summers are nice here.

Minneapolis is in Minnesota... no Mormons here.

Me too. I was stopping about every 1 1/2 to 2 hours to pee.
