Hello everyone, I is DieMenschMaschine and I love Kraftwerk. I am new to this site and I love America like all my fellow American brothers and sisters here. Say Hello to me, I'm not in Kansas no more is what Superman says.

Hello brother from another motherland

I never said that.
What is "better" is subjective. :eyelash:

What does the karma and all the little icons mean under each member name?
-
:welcome:
I thought this was an American only site for aspies.
It should be but odeon is strangely reluctant to boot the Euros from the Forum. ???
Say Hello to me, I'm not in Kansas no more is what Superman says.
I though that was Dorothy Gale from the Wizard of Oz. :scratchhead:

I have only heard Autobahn.
-
What does the karma and all the little icons mean under each member name?
It's in honor of the lovefest that caused The Crying One to leave. :(

What does the karma and all the little icons mean under each member name?
Hi DieMenschMaschine.
:welcome:
We are not just for Americans. We have members from all over.
Karma is a way for you to give or take away points from people or for them to give or take away points from you. People often give karma points if they think a post is well-written or insightful or if it makes them laugh, while others like to give or take away karma points for other reasons. Some people make a game of saying things to make other people subtract karma ponts from them. There is no tangible reward for having a high or low karma, it is just a number.
If you want to give a karma point, then you click Yay! under the person's karma. If you want to take a point away, then click Ghey!.
Directly below the member's screen name is a custom title, if the member has one. If you want one, just ask. Below that is the member's membergroup, both special and post count based.
The color of the stars depends on the member's membergroup, while the number of stars depends on the member's post count.
Below the member's avatar there are three icons, the member profile, the email, and the private message icon.
Below these, there is an ignore icon, which you click on if you prefer not to see this member's posts.
Hope this helps.

Me neither dude

I was talking about Kraftwerk. They made albums in German as well as English. Some people own the albums that are in English but others own albums that are in German. Unless you speak German or have heard the English version first. You would understand what they are saying in the German versions because you either speak German or heard the English versions first.
-
:welcome: to Intensity.
What else do you like apart from Kraftwerk?
-
I like Kraftwerk, as well as Amon Duul II, Faust, Can, Neu!, Guru Guru, Cluster, and many other "krautrock" bands.
-
Der Schaft der 1971 deutschen Rundfunk Konzert ist fantastisch! Besser als auch die Man Machine! Es hat eine sehr laute Gitarren und saxaphones. :headbang: :headphones:
Haben Sie auch wie die anderen Krautrock-Bands wie Faust, Can, Guru Guru, Neu! und Ash Ra Tempel?
-
Eh?
-
Eh?
I blame the above comment completely on Google's ability to translate English to German.

Ich habe the Kraftwerk live konzert on Bremen Radio 1971 mit Klaus und Michael from Neu! Also have Faust I-V. (Yes, you read right. Faust V was released by Virgin--just barely--on promo cassette. I obtained copy through Internets.)
Also recently obtained Amon Duul II. Sehr gut!

^not again :facepalm2:
Kraftwerk IS NOT TECHNO! get it right idiots! all electronic music is NOT techno. kraftwerk was around almost 15 years before techno was born. calling kraftwerk techno is like calling bowie goth music.
if your going to hate an entire genre of music, at least get the name right.
kraftwerk is electronic.
this is what techno sounds like-

I love Kraftwerk.
My favorite albums by them are Computerwelt and Trans Europa Express. I only listen to the German versions of their albums.

Tell us, what brings you to post here after a year of passive membership?
