Title: Online perverts
Post by: Parts on May 12, 2009, 02:19:36 PM
It seems they catch more everyday with the same ruse, pretending to be under aged or the old you want to trade.  Well here's the thing why do they still catch people?  Also all theses police resources tied up trolling for pervs but they are cutting back on police who patrol in some areas but this seems to be getting more money or squads all the time.  WTF I live in a city of about 50,000 but they have a computer crimes department but when asked about patrolling some parts of town overnight more thoroughly  they say they can't because they don't have enough man power or money :-\

I wonder how often police posing as kids in chatrooms unwittingly chat up other police posing as kids in chatrooms.

I think this country has a huge obsession with sex both a repulsion and love for it. This whole country seems overzealous about sex crimes. It almost seems if violence is tolerated more than sex crimes

How come they don't have a Megan's Law type deal for violent offenders? Or for people who have committed acts of dishonesty such as fraud?

You really ought to stop bagging on Swedish police for what they did to you when you support facist nazi dictators who discriminate on minorities. It's pretty hypocritical.

Swedish police would be worthless jerks without me having a personal grudge against them. They're despised by most Swedes for their cowardice and incompetence.

Have a look at jail sentences for sex crimes versus violent crimes.  THEN, if you want to get REALLY mad, look at sentences for drug 'crimes.'

You can get 14 years for smuggling drugs here, while you get "just" 10 years for first degree murder...
