The main experiment hasn't even been done yet, the media are absolute idiots thinking that it was collision day. On September 10th, they only powered up the LHC, and tested the main 27km circular track by injecting low energy protons into it to see if they would spin around the whole track properly. They haven't been began the real experiment yet.

They still need to calibrate the magnets to precision and ensure it's perfect to even allow a collision to occur. So in about two months the real collision experiment occurs (but not at full capacity, only at 5TeV, as oppose to full power at 7TeV, which will be done next year).

Ok, so existence ends in two months, cool, I can still enjoy my birthday and Thanksgiving properly, hell maybe even xmas.  After that I don't give a fuck!

i loiks hoban.  he wrote a really weird book about someone obsessed with internet porn, or similar - i forget, and found it quite disturbing, so i didn't keep it.

The 2012 thing is no different than the milennium bug of 1999/2000, smoke and mirrors and pure unadulterated BS.  I have the book about "doomsday" 2012 and am eagerly looking forward to a book  bonfire Jan. 1 2013.  As for Bucky Fuller, I don't know who he is and I fully expect we'll be on the edge of oblivion at least after my daughter's time has passed.

After that, any possible descendants of mine are on their own!
