Not according to my new lady friend. Her brother has Asperger's Syndrome.I tend to agree - I have met other aspies IRL and I'm not quite as socially retarded, but close.I'd say I have an extremely male, warped brain, a lot of aspie tendancies, and a love of internet forums as a social setting.Would it piss anyone off* if I, a "normal" person, hung around? *Any more than usual that is.This site has really helped me get a grip on my insecurities and has cheered me up when depressed, so thank-you all.PS. everyone is somewhere on the spectrum.
it is well known that PMS Elle is evil.
I think you'd fit in a 12" or at least a 16" firework mortar
You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.
I've been hanging round here since January and I am NT

Hell, I thought the funniest thing was when I said I wasn't autistic and Nocti said it was strange for me to be questioning my diagnosis or some shit like that.
I've also met other aspies IRL at local support groups, and was also much less socially retarded than most of them...
...and I will have to send my pet Lion of Gestalt, Nocti after you. "Give us a growl Nockers""Growl" "Good Nockers"Only lion I have seen that is bald.
I'm not an Aspie either.I was officially DXed as an Autistic. High functioning but not strictly with Asperger's Syndrome - some subtle differences. Mainly to do with my delayed speach development as a young child, but apparently a few other things also.

I considered myself to be somewhere in the middle. Some were more badly affected than I am and some seemed more like NTs... I say this not doubting their DXs, but saying how they came across to me.
