Oh shit sorry. Oh course there are a few noticable difference. Randy is a skinny ginseng eating moron and you are a very cute, dark-haired beauty who's bottom I would like to spank...

Does that get me off the hook mate.

Damn I need to think before I type... :-[
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

I had one of the strangest experiences of my life when I went to support group once, just to see what it was like. I doubt I would ever go to another one unless it was people I knew, at least a little bit, from online first.

Not according to my new lady friend. Her brother has Asperger's Syndrome.

I tend to agree - I have met other aspies IRL and I'm not quite as socially retarded, but close.

I'd say I have an extremely male, warped brain, a lot of aspie tendancies, and a love of internet forums as a social setting.

Would it piss anyone off* if I, a "normal" person, hung around? *Any more than usual that is.

This site has really helped me get a grip on my insecurities and has cheered me up when depressed, so thank-you all.

PS. everyone is somewhere on the spectrum.
SHUN THE NON-ASPERGER!!!  SHUNNNNNNN-NUH!

I was going to empathize as a "fellow normal person" but I just made a Charlie the Unicorn joke so I don't think now's the time.  Stay, post, tell us all the juicy details of your relationship with your new lady-friend.  ;)

You win this thread because that's most unsettling to even think about.

I do not think you would be the first or the last NT to be hanging out on the internet with a bunch of Autistics. :green:

Hell, I thought the funniest thing was when I said I wasn't autistic and Nocti said it was strange for me to be questioning my diagnosis or some shit like that.

I simply took what you said as honest. I tend to believe people at their word unless I have very good reason not to.

I've also met other aspies IRL at local support groups, and was also much less socially retarded than most of them...

When I attended a local social support group for Autistics... I considered myself to be somewhere in the middle. Some were more badly affected than I am and some seemed more like NTs... I say this not doubting their DXs, but saying how they came across to me.

Only lion I have seen that is bald.

Seems somebody is very obsessed with me. Hey, Les... I'm heterosexual and married ;)

I'm not an Aspie either.

I was officially DXed as an Autistic. High functioning but not strictly with Asperger's Syndrome - some subtle differences. Mainly to do with my delayed speach development as a young child, but apparently a few other things also.

I have been to a few I can hide it much better than many of the other who were there at least publicly.  Though I do mostly hide from the public
