oh, but to answer your question, it hasn't worked well.  Even if a girl thinks you aren't interested, and you act like you're not interested, she still wants you to be interested and involved.

I don't think that you should do your laundry at the laundromat if you have a perfectly good washing machine and dryer at home, unless maybe your comforter is too big to fit and you need an extra large washer and dryer to accomodate it.

My dad met a bunch of crackheads who stole from him when he stopped and offered to help a young woman (crackhead) whose car had broken down, so I'm not so sure about offering to change the oil of random single mothers' cars, although if there is one in whom you are already interested, that might work.

Follow her around the store to make sure she's actually as cute as she seems, and then when she goes to her car, follow right behind her all the way to her home just in case her car breaks down, so you can stop and help her.

ummmm that was helpful?   now to pop your sense of reality:   If you always push people away when there is a "problem" of some sort, how do you ever expect to grow by working things out.  A friend of mine recently called AS a "social detachment disorder".   it made me stop and think, as that is how NT's seem to view us.
