I'd had a shitty internet connection for a long time, but if finally crapped out completely a few days ago. The cable guy was here to fix it a while ago and it seems to be working okay. (Something about a device outside being turned up too high. I could barely hear what he was saying.)
These forum sites seem to be loading up in reasonable time, but YouTube still fucks up and also the podcasts that I download get chopped up if I don't keep an eye on the progress bars. Maybe it's the server at YouTube and at where the podcasts are stored.
I hope I don't have to call them back out here again.
