Early for things that are super-important. Chronically late when I know I can get away with it. Part of the issue with the latter is social norms in most of my social groups have it that late is better than early.
That sounds like me. I am often 5 minutes late to work because I'm otherwise very
reliable, have taken only 4 sick days in 23 years, work through part of my lunch break
if I am in the middle of something I want to get done, etc., and so no one really minds.
OTOH, I once raced across town in a cab to arrive on time for a scheduled 1:00 p.m.
chest X-ray, and was kept waiting 40 minutes for no apparent reason, I hate that!
