Went to Lowes today and saw these nutters loading up.  They just tied it with rope and no red flag on the back.  Hope they didn't have to go far. The boards stuck about 8 or 9 feet from the back of the truck

It's under the truck box which I think is the only reason it was.
I load up big but safely with real heavy duty straps I would never drive like they did.  My truck is rated for 1950lbs in the bed and I have racks for long stuff.  Here it is loaded up
