Because the mums are home with the kids when they are babies?

I think I did roughly my share, though. And I don't ever want to do it again.

Man, what is it with you witchy types?

My wife and her witchy friends all use either those cups or the re-usuable cloth pads, so much so its scary.

She makes them and uses them, she also makes fitted cloth nappies for baby too. They are mad for all this shit.

oooooh, is your wife a witchy type too, then?  i knew i liked you.  :-*

and it's the environmental thing which appeals to people with a pagan/earth/eco bent.

Yeah, I figured as much, its just strange how universal it is and how you guys are all doing the same thing.

ooooooh, scary collective female power!  :smarty:

:witch1:

Is it still paranoia if you are all out to get us?

nope: narcissism.  :P

I wonder why it usually works out that mothers change more diapers than fathers, even when parents share taking care of their baby.

you really need an answer for that, callaway?  ;)

A lot of the men don't take their responsibility? I think Aspies are probably better at that.

from the relatively few i "know" (as opposed to the hundreds of NT dads, at least), i'd agree with you, but i can't say for sure as i don't have a statistically significant sample to go on.

I think it's a safe guess. :-\

It's one of the topics I wouldn't explore empirically. Ever.

Of course not, but it *is* scary.

So therefore, if you wish to cure yourself of your paranoia, just hire a hit out on yourself?

i used to use tampons, but converted (back) to towels cos i wanted to get my head round the fact that bleeding isn't something terrible: for women of my generation, it was never talked about, and was supposed to be disgusting.

i've used a keeper/mooncup for the past few years, though, and would never change back, although i use organic cotton washable towels sometimes. i think the keeper is a great invention: environmentally friendly, no chance of TSS, and my roses grow beautifully. ;)

What we really need is a mooncup for babies.  Something plastic and easily washed that you stuff up their arses to collect their shit.

Isnt that what mothers are for?

 :hide:

To be fair, its just the last baby I'm not changing nappies. I did with the 1st 3 kids. I think modern society makes it weird for me to be changing a girl vs the 1st 3 boys.

That and I prefer disposable nappies vs cloth and the wife wants to do cloth with this one.

To be fair, I have a sensetivity to smell.

My Opa also had a sensetivity to smell and he never changed any of his 4 kids. He would usually throw up if he to.
