Sometimes I'm in public when I use my laptop. If I become a pariah because of my views on the Internet, I can always move to another online community when I get tired of it. On the train, on the bus, at the office, among friends or just anywhere else in daily life it's a bit harder, so I tend to share my views only with who I know to be openminded enough to deal with it or those who share them.

People like myself are way too often treated like Jews were treated in the Third Reich (antisemitism did exist in the Third Reich, unlike genocide). Like the Jews had to hide they were Jews, nationalists and traditionalists have to do pretty much the same.

I don't know about a paranoid person, but anyone with some common sense would use a proxy in the position you've put me. Not that I believe it would make much of a difference, but why should I take the risk?

Not really, we have to follow the laws of whatever country allows I2 to be seen.    The UK is particularly strict about such things, hell if they find the porn on here against their laws, I2 could be shut down there.  I have no ideas about what the internet laws are in Sweden, but, if Odeon doesn't do anything, we could find the site shut down there.  So reporting the ISP is not pathetic, just common sense to preserve I2 for the  rest of us.  Not just a "one trick pony".   If the ISP decides this is "bad', then it's their turf.

I'm not the most cyber literate guy in the world, but, I do know that laws and rules are coming up that WE need to be aware of before stuff like this becomes the death knell of free speech anywhere on the internet.

That is already the death knell of free speech on the internet.   You should be able to say whatever you want, wherever you want.   I2 is allowed to be seen in every country, other than possibly the firewall of China blocking the site.   So does that mean we are bound by the laws of Iran as far as censorship goes?   The Iranian government would agree with Illusion quite a bit lol.

Isn't this site hosted in the US?   I know Odeon is in Sweden, but I thought the hosting company was in the US.

If the hosting company is in the US, it's American law that is applicable. Normally American law is much more tolerant than European laws when it comes to freedom of speech.
