Got a large 100lbs compressor, a snow thrower, chair, table, and a bunch of other stuff today.

Here's a sample of how the roads look when they have bulk pick up.  Toilets I saw 4 today

OMFG, I would sooo need a bigger truck. :o

They don't have anything like that here, they'll take anything as long as they can fit it on the truck, so you just never know what you'll find on any given week.

I wish I was there.  I would take that toilet lid, since my daughter smashed the one on the back of the toilet at school into a million pieces while she had a meltdown today.

Can you even buy a lid without buying the whole toilet?

They have it here three times a year the rest of the year the garbage men won't take much of anything but household stuff.  The town next to me  will take anything any time though.
Here for the next month a different part of town has pick up each week

Well done Parts.  :)

I'm selling this at the moment.  Got it for free because the tube that lead from the tank to the carb was broken so it wasn't getting any gas.  Cost about $1.50 to fix.

That and clogged fuel filters have to be one of the commonest problems I find in the small gas engines I find people just throw them out. Well I guess it's good for me

Thanks, Parts.  I found one here and took it to my daughter's school:

http://doiturselfplumbing.net/

It was a perfect fit.

The tank lid in the picture would not have fit, since the tank lid my daughter broke was actually shaped like a rounded trapezoid.

I got the information off another tank lid and measured and traced it and they had one.

Someone at the school had already gone to Home Despot, and of course they could not sell a tank lid without the tank.
