Headache has been non-stop now for over 48 hours. Over a dozen extra-strength acetamenophen haven't touched it. Day off tomorrow may lead to all day at the doctor's office if this doesn't improve.

I'm screwed as I just took a Lunesta, my last one, so I could sleep through the pain.If I don't post again within 12 hours then fear the worst. That would be kind of fucking ironic considering all the suicidal thought in recent months.

Feeling verklempt. Watching the memorial in Ottawa. Every time the veterans march I get choked up.

I have no soldiers/pilots etc in my family, but I am interested in military history (especially ww2) so I have a lot of respect for veterans. People who complain about poppies here and anything related to soldiers really piss me off.
My father was one of the Battling Bastards of Bastogne and fought at the Bridge at Remagen. My father-in-law was in the Navy. He was trained to fight fires on ships and was waiting to ship out when the war ended. My mother's dad was in WWI as either an ambulance driver or cook (I've heard both stories) in Italy, so maybe he knew Hemingway, but probably not.
