I feel sad because this is my workplace friend's last day on the job, but I am happy to be able to work with her today. 

Has she been laid off, because work is getting instable, or did she leave at her own decision?

Fortunately no one has been laid off, she just found a better job (better money, hours and responsibilities). It will be a new challenge for her!

Yes. I hope this isn't going to be a full-blown migraine attack. I don't feel nauseous so maybe I'm lucky.

Funny how not all the components are always there during an attack.
(Easy for me to say it is funny, no migraine in my life today, am nauseous though, and am blaming a bug )

Our A/C fan died today.  So it's 86 inside with 59% humidity which makes a heat index of about 90 degrees.  I'm hot and about to take off at least one of my petticoats and maybe a corset.
