I would like to address my breathing, if I may. Several professionals are looking into it cos it seems that I'm not doing enough of it. Next week I'll have to sleep hooked up to some weird apparatus quantifying these problems for me so said professionals can come up with a strategy that works.

My doctor figured out that my migraines are hypoxic (lack of oxygen). High stress and anxiety (sound familiar?) can cause you to breathe incorrectly, and take short choppy breaths, or actually stop breathing for short periods of time. You ever hold your breath for too long when you were a kid and get a headache? Same concept.

When I feel a migraine coming on, sometimes if I stop, relax, tilt my head back, and take deep breaths (without hyperventilating) it will help a lot.

I hope that whatever the docs come up with will help me sleep and get rid of the bloody migraines.

If you breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth (5 seconds in and 5 seconds out) a la yoga, it will regulate your breathing and you won't hyperventilate.

I can't breathe through my nose well. Narrow passageways. :(

I'm the same (deviated septum). if you take your thumb and finger and slide it down on either side of your nose, right over the bridge, it will open it up for you to breathe more easily. I don't know if they have the Breathe Right strips, but those work too.

Tried them, but I can't sleep with them on. :(

Energized. Went walking for a few hours with the kids, and my neighbour and their kids. It was really chilly so that woke me up. Now I'm trying to get warm. *shiver*

Odeon all the best with that. My landlord told me he does meditation too for the migraines.

Also look at the cause and see if you can cut down the stress.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.
