Have you tried a new routine right before bed? Every night at 8pm I light candles and put on quiet music. Helps my body to unwind a few hours before I turn in. At night I have two mixes that I listen to when I'm ready to go to sleep. My body is so conditioned to unwinding with those playlists that if I play them during the day, I fall asleep. That's just me though.
I have a hard time finding mellow music that doesn't irritate me. I've got some Mazzy Star, but that's more of a make-out cd than a go to sleep cd.
